(1922 - 1997)
THE MAN WHO STARTED IT ALL
Well-aware of the instrumental role formal education played in the progress of society. He wished for others what he wished for himself. Thus, empathy became the foundation of the organization desire to epitomise “Inclusive Excellence”
Under the aegis of the Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) Trust, he established the Ramaiah Institute of Technology in 1962, the Ramaiah Medical College in 1979, and the Medical College Hospital in 1984.
Over the next decade, several other institutions were set up, strengthening the educational focus of the group.
THE NEXT GENERATION VISIONARY
Since 1997, Dr. M S Ramaiah's legacy has been carried forward by his son. :
With innovation, quality and research as his mantras he has expanded the Organization's ambit to global horizons.
In 2016, Dr. Jayaram spearheaded the consolidation of various institutions into a single, unified entity : The "Ramaiah Group".
His willingness to continue propagating ‘Inclusive Excellence’ reflects his commitment towards the founder's vision.
